Sunday Site Review - The Wave Gate

Painting by Jack Vettriano

I swiped this picture off Arafin's blog. (Thanks Arafin my sweet friend.) Isn't it marvelous? I love paintings like this because they tell a story without uttering a single word. They're great inspiration, especially for someone with a very creative mind like Arafin.

On his blog Arafin often takes a painting or photo and weaves the most wonderful stories around them. If you haven't visited The Wave Gate, stop by. Fans of hypnosis, mind control, and erotic fiction will certainly enjoy his work. Even if that type of writing isn't your thing, I'm guessing you'll enjoy the images he posts :)

Dear Lady Julia,

[shifts feet nervously, looks nonchalantly up at the sky and whistles]

Ummmmm ............. regarding the painting by Jack Vettriano that you take credit for swiping from my blog, uhhhhhh .........., I actually swiped it from *your* Yahoo forum last Spring. So I get the credit for larceny and you get the credit for originality. :)

Thank you very much for your kind words about my blog, but there, too, the bouquet is yours as you were the one who gave me the idea to start a blog in the first place.

(I have another story I hope to finish this afternoon, and appropriately, it deals with swiping stuff.)

Watch out, or I’ll pilfer all sorts of things from you.

[slinks away, eyes darting from side to side on the lookout for witnesses]
